As part of our mission to bring the joy and community of gaming to gamers wherever they are and to make games more accessible to people around the world, Xbox announced a partnership with Epic Games to make the Fortnite on browser-enabled devices for free with Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta) in 26 countries, our country is included (aeeee).
This means that, as of today (05/05), if you like Fortnite, you only need two things to play:
- A Microsoft account
- An iOS, iPadOS, Android phone or tablet, or Windows PC with internet access
No installation required or active Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription, all you need to do is go to Xbox.com/play in your web browser and sign in with your Microsoft account to play with friends or earn your next Victory Royale at the Fortnite.
You can play with touch controls on the device's screen (touch) and/or a compatible controller, all to facilitate your entry into the Fortnite com o Xbox Cloud Gaming.
It is an important step to add a Free-to-Play title to the cloud games catalog as we continue our cloud journey. starting with the Fortnite and in the future to bring more Free-to-Play games that people love. At Xbox, the orientation is to make games accessible to the 3 billion players worldwide, and the cloud plays an important role in that mission. So you have more options both in the games you play and in the way you choose to play them.
