Any Facebook user can use the platform to make live broadcasts open to the public or their friends. The live can be done either through the app for Android and iOS or on the computer. After streaming is over, the user can share the recorded video on their timeline or save it on their device.

  • Create a poll to be answered by viewers during the broadcast.

How to live on Facebook Gaming

Facebook Gaming is what the gaming section of the social network is called. The tool allows you to play alone or with friends and join groups specifically focused on games. In addition, it is possible to watch matches live through the streams.

For anyone who wants to become a streamer and share their gaming strategies with other users, you must have a Game Video Creator page. You also need to download a streaming program to your computer. Those recommended by the social network are Streamlabs, OBS Studio and XSplit.

These softwares allow the user to share the game screen with their viewers and broadcast in a more professional way. Then just follow the steps below.

1. Visit the Facebook creative studio and click broadcast live;

2. In the window that opens, select the tab Publication and choose where you want the video to appear. You can choose your game creator page, profile, any group or event;

3. In the same tab, you can also name the video and include a description of what will be shown.

4. On the left side of the window, copy the server URL and/or the streaming key and paste it into your streaming software settings;

5. Check the box for the option Use a persistent stream key, so you don't need to generate a key for each transmission;

  • Facebook strongly recommends that the user never share their broadcast key with others. This would allow third parties to create videos on your behalf.

6. Start streaming on your streaming program;

7. Back to page Facebook creative studio, Click broadcast live and ready.
