Forza Horizon 2 will be pulled from Xbox Live soon

Forza Horizon 2 will be pulled from Xbox Live soon

Microsoft Studios announced that Force Horizon 2, released in 2022 for Xbox One and Xbox 360, will no longer be available on the Xbox Live Store, as will all DLCs, due to what they call an "end of life" status. This will take place on September 30, 2022.

A statement to the Forza community: Forza Horizon 2 will reach “end of life” status on September 30th. This means that the game and its associated DLCs will no longer be available for purchase. After September 30, players who own Forza Horizon 2 will still be able to download and play the game and its associated content as normal. However, Forza Horizon 2 and its DLCs will no longer be for sale. Forza Horizon 2 is currently available as of August's Games With Gold, so if you haven't played it yet, now is a great time to pick it up.

Cases like this occur because many other games use many songs by singers and bands, and this has a deadline for its dissemination. There is also great difficulty in renegotiating the licenses for the music and real characters of these games. So the legal rights are over and the game needs to be taken out of the store.

As stated in the official statement, players who have already purchased Forza Horizon 2, they will have access to the game and additional content, but after that date, they will not be able to buy anything else from it in the digital store. It is worth remembering that the game is available until August 31 at Games with Gold.
