How to change your Status privacy

It is common to have very different contacts on WhatsApp, ranging from friends and family to co-workers and bosses. Therefore, before publishing a photo or video as a Status, it is common to be careful so that it is not compromising.

However, you can only show your updates to those closest to you and be as relaxed as you want. On Android, go to the tab Status and click on the three dots icon in the upper right corner. Then choose status privacy.

On iPhone, go to the Status and tap Privacy, in the upper left corner. Now the step is the same on both operating systems. You need to select who can see your updates: all your contacts or the contacts except certain people.

If you choose the second option, a list will be displayed, in which you must mark those from whom you want to hide posts. When finished, just tap the check sign (âś“) at the bottom of the screen.

It is also possible to do the opposite: hide the contents from everyone and show them only to a select group. To do this, tap on the item share only with and, from the list, select who will be able to see your posts.
