    Let’s get creepy!

    1. Alone in the Dark

Alone in the Dark is a perfect example of how to create Horror games: a story with twists, fantastic scripts and interesting characters. It might be a great action-horror recipe, but it comes with a bad taste.

Ambitious and imaginative, it's a strange pleasure to play this game. Those who are able to deal with their problems – which are not easy to ignore – can end up living a very interesting adventure. Excellent horror game for weak PC.

    2. Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth

Also named in our biggest list of weak PC games, this game takes a dark and intriguing look at the stories of the cults who worship the afterlife. Call of Cthulhu offers everything that a horror game can bring by taking the player to creatures from another dimension even though it is a weak PC horror game. Pretty scary.

    3. Dream of the Blood Moon

Another one from our top list, Dream of the Blood Moon is a first-person horror game inspired by Slenderman and SCP games. It is set in a nightmarish landscape and tells a short story. That's why it makes the game so scary. It's worth playing and, being a good horror game for a weak PC, it won't demand much from your machine.

    4. Hide Or Die

Hide or Die was designed from the ground up to be terrifying and is a game where life is hard and death is permanent.

You will be put in a situation where you will never feel comfortable in the world around you. Psychological events put the player on edge, while the many hunters and enemies make direct interactions extremely tense. One mistake is all it takes to meet your end in this unforgiving world.

This is a not-so-weak PC horror game. Ideal for those who have, for example, an FX from past generations or even an A-6 and A-8, but don't want to be left out.

    5. Gone Home

Its unconventional, non-violent subject matter and gameplay also skillfully and confidently proves that not all games need an “attack” button to be interesting – and given the growing tired feeling many of us feel with super-game experiences. violence, this is something that should be celebrated.

As a bonus, it's still Gone Home is still an amazing weak PC Horror game.

A game with a really scary atmosphere. Imscared has an amazing way of creating a scary environment even without hi-end graphics. How does it do this being a weak PC horror game? Playing with your computer and your mind.

    7. Mad Father

Don't be fooled: the handling is remarkable and the fact that the tracks are full of obstacles that jump and crash in a realistic way makes everything more fun. Play in the excellent damage mode and it's easy to see that this game has perfectly nailed the core mechanics of a weak PC racing game with addictive handling.

    8. Sanitarium

Sanitarium was one of the games I played in childhood (I got stuck in the fountain puzzle) that always stuck with me somewhere in the dark corners of my mind. Years later, I decided it was time to start over and it was a mind-blowing experience.

Sanitarium is an isometric adventure game. Although classified as horror, it is more of a psychologically exhilarating surreal experience than a terrifying one. The game starts in a very scary atmosphere with very dark tones, great sound effects and music. You wake up in an asylum with no memory of your own identity. Interestingly, it wasn't the only time Sanitarium reminded me of another masterpiece, Planescape: Torment. Whether it's the isometric style, the occasional surrealist setting of dark fantasy, the use of a similar color palette, the spectacular writing, or how much it pushes video games as an art form, Sanitarium (despite being a point-and-shoot adventure game and click) I was able to capture a similar space only in my subconscious: the torment I had before.

Great horror game for weak PC!

    9. SCP 087-B

This game has a weird atmosphere and big scares. The game has some very loud unexpected sounds that contribute to the scares in the player. If you like to be scared in the game, without having to be scared when it comes to knowing how much an upgrade to your old PC costs, this horror game for weak PC is ideal.

    10. Scratches

Masterpiece, the atmosphere is very good and emotional, you feel the sadness in the house for what happened, you want to stay there until you finish the story and still you wonder what really happened when you are a horror fan.

Scary and engaging, this is a great horror game for the weak PC for sure.

    11. Shadow Of Destiny

A rare piece that strikes a balance between making time travel believable and time travel a necessity for the plot. It's smart, thought-provoking and terrifying in an incredible way. Good horror game for weak PC.

    12. Silent Hill 2

Silent Hill 2 is a literary genius embodied in a video game. Symbolism plagues the city in this game, leaving the story intensely complicated and abstract. However, this does not harm the game, but increases the tension of the situation.

If you can untangle the complex ideals this clever game offers, you'll be rewarded with a story that parallels (and, in some cases, surpasses the main one). Silent Hill 2 is BADASS, an excellent horror game for the weak PC!

    13. System Shock 2

The first game in the series was an undeniable classic that could easily be ruined in the wrong hands. We're here to tell you to put those fears in a box because this weak PC horror game is the dream sequel.

    14. Thief

An excellent stealth game, faithful to the spirit of the original and at the same time much more modern. Very polished gameplay and a smart difficulty level make Thief a game no stealthy fan should miss. The plot and setting aren't always inspired, but the quality of the content makes up for it.

    15. Undying

Best horror game I've ever played in my life. I've never felt so stunned by an atmosphere like this. This game is truly for everyone who knows what Lovecraft or Poe is.

The only bad thing is that since the Undying series wasn't selling very well, EA canceled the sequel. It's very sad, but you can make the sadness go away by playing this amazing horror game for weak PC.
