Bandai Namco together with CyberConnect2 have confirmed the arrival of new content for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot. Trunks: The Warrior of Hope is the new story arc included in the Season Pass, which already features “A New Power Awakens”. The arc will focus on the story of Goku and Vegeta's children in an alternate reality. The DLC is scheduled for release in our winter.
In Trunks: The Warrior of Hope, Goku passed away. A warrior capable of defeating the most lethal of opponents, he was still no match for a lethal virus that took hold of his heart. Although those close to Goku were overcome with sadness, they continued to lead peaceful lives for some time.
However, half a year after his death, two monstrosities appeared on an island in the south. Earth's defenders went to meet this new threat, but they didn't stand a chance. Piccolo was the first to fall, so Vegeta, Yamcha, Tenshihan, and Krillin lost their lives.
The two androids have plunged the world into a state of constant fear and chaos… It is here, 13 years later, that our story begins. A story about a world without Goku…
