Netflix profiles allow different users to have individual and unique experiences on the same account. Creating, editing or deleting a profile is quite simple and can be done from both mobile and PC.
According to the company, a single account can have up to five different users. They each feature their own custom suggestions, playback settings, and age rating.
With the exception of Kids for desktop, they all also have their own list of recently watched titles and those you want to see. As well as title ratings (liked or not) and particular language preferences.

How to create a Netflix profile on mobile
To perform the procedure below, you must have the Netflix app installed on your Android or iOS device.
1. Open the Netflix app;
2. touch no symbol +, above Add Profile;
3. Now, define a name and, if the profile is for a child, check the corresponding box;
4. Touch Image to choose which figure you want to represent that profile. It is possible to choose the avatar of your favorite series;
5. When the process is complete, go to Save, at the top right of the screen.
Okay, the new profile is created!
How to edit a Netflix profile on mobile
1. Open the Netflix app;
2. Tap on the pencil icon, located in the upper right corner of the application;
3. All profiles will display the pencil icon over the avatar. Tap on the one you want to edit;
4. On the next screen, it is possible to edit the username, if the content should be childish, as well as change the avatar image;
5. After making the changes you want, go to Save, at the top of the screen on the right.
How to delete a Netflix profile on mobile
Netflix does not allow the deletion of the main profile, only those created by the user(s). When you delete it, all usage history and preferences are deleted and can no longer be recovered.
1. Open the Netflix app;
2. Tap on the pencil icon, located in the upper right corner of the application;
3. All profiles will display the pencil icon over the avatar. Tap on the one you want to delete;
4. Follow your body, you Delete Profile. It is necessary that the profile is not in use, otherwise it will not be possible to delete it;
5. In the window that opens, confirm your choice in delete profile and that's it, that user will be deleted afterwards.
How to create a Netflix profile from PC
1. Go to the Netflix profile management page. If you are not logged in to your account, log in;
2. Click on the icon of +, above the text add profile;
3. First, define a name and decide if this will be a child profile or not by checking the box Children;
4. Confirm your choices at Continue and then the new user will be created.
How to edit a Netflix profile from PC
Netflix offers more profile editing options via the PC than in the smartphone app. Check out:
1. Go to the Netflix profile management page. If you are not logged in to your account, log in;
2. Click on the profile you want to edit;
3. In the first line, you can change the name and define whether you want a children's audience or not;
4. In the second, the user can select their language preference;
5. Below, there is the option to define the types of movies and series allowed for that profile. These include: For Young Children Only, Children of All Ages, Teens and Younger, or All Maturity Levels;
6. To change the avatar of this profile, click on the image to the left of the options;
7. Choose the icon of your choice by clicking on it;
8. On the next screen, confirm your choice in Good idea;
9. Complete all your edits on the button Save.
How to Delete a Netflix Profile on PC
Netflix does not allow the deletion of the main profile, only those created by the user(s). When you delete it, all usage history and preferences are gone forever.
1. Go to the Netflix profile management page. If you are not logged in to your account, log in;
2. Click on the profile you want to delete;
3. Follow your body, you delete profile;
4. Confirm your decision by clicking Delete Profile. Then it will be deleted.
Netflix points out, however, that devices manufactured in 2022 or earlier may not support multiple profiles.

How to set password for adult content in a Netflix profile
Netflix has a feature called parental control, which allows you to protect certain types of content with a password. The function can be used even on profiles that are not children.
It is a way to prevent underage children and young people from watching content that is inappropriate for their age group, if they enter the profile of an adult. To configure, go to the parental control page, enter the account password and go to Continue.
Then, set a four-number PIN, which you will be prompted for whenever you want to access blocked content, and click Save. Below, enter the age rating of the content to be protected by the code.
It is possible to allow free access only for programs with a Free rating or for viewers aged 10, 12, 14, 16 and 18 years old. Already in the item Restrict specific titles, the user can enter the names of series or movies that he wants to password protect playback.
If available in the Netflix library, it will appear in a list. Just click on to select it. With the exception of the PIN, all changes are automatically saved.
